Son of Edwin R. Rogers. Captain Rogers held the rank of Lieutenant in the 61st King George's Own Pioneers, Bangalore, India as well as being an ex-member of the Queen's Own Rifles, Toronto, Ontario. Captain Rogers was a graduate of the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario.
