Thomas enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 13th 1914, he listed his occupation as "Motor Driver"  Thomas died May 10th 1915 at the age of 29.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
