  • Wreckage– On June 29, 2018 a group of 30 people on a guided ATV tour hiked up the mountain to view the crash site of G/C William Robert Cole. We felt honour and pride.
  • Newspaper clipping– Submitted for the project Operation Picture Me
  • Memorial– The attached memorial was installed at Group Captain W.R. Cole`s crash site on October 20, 2012. A full memorial service was held at this location by members of CFB Gagetown and myself on the 45th anniversary of the tragedy October 23, 2012. The aircraft displayed on the memorial is the actual Sabre involved in the incident.
