Photo of Christopher Jonathan Reid – Corporal Christopher Jonathan Reid of the 1st Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry based in Edmonton was killed when his LAV III vehicle struck an improvised explosive device at 4:20 a.m. Kandahar time August 3, 2006. The incident occurred near the village of Pashmul located approximately 25 kilometres southwest of Kandahar City.
