S/Cst. Boskill was a regular member and served at Rosetown and La Loche Detachments in Saskatchewan. In 1980, S/Cst. Boskill chose to convert to Special Constable status so he could transfer to the Air Section. It was determined that the probable cause of the airplane crash was engine failure. S/Cst. Boskill was married to Patricia and they had one son. He is buried in the cemetery at North Battleford.
