Cst. Pedersen was born in Alberta. He was shot while investigating a complaint near Kamloops, British Columbia. Cst. Pedersen’s name appears on a plaque on the wall of the RCMP Chapel at Depot. He was married to Betty who gave birth to a son seven months after Cst. Pedersen’s funeral. He is buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Vernon, BC.

Commemorated on Page 118 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
