Cst. Rhodeniser was born in Nova Scotia. He was partnered with his dog “Tell” in October 1938. Cst. Rhodeniser was shot near Carlyle, Saskatchewan, while leading a posse in search of a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with three murders. He is buried at Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

Commemorated on Page 62 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
