Corporal Lowry engaged with the NWMP at Regina and was posted to Battleford, “E” Division. He was promoted to corporal February 18,1884. Corporal Lowry died from wounds received during the Battle of Cut Knife Hill, Northwest Territories.

Commemorated on Page 12 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
