Newspaper Clipping – Pte. Thomas Culbert was born in Belfast, Ireland. He enlisted in the 126th "Peel" Battalion, C.E.F. in Toronto on January 13th, 1916. His brother Bugler James Culbert, 157563, enlisted with the 81st Battalion C.E.F. on October 7th, 1915. Another brother, Corp. William Culbert, 9182, enlisted with the First Canadian Contingent on September 22nd, 1914 at Valcartier Camp, Quebec. He served with the 3rd Battalion C.E.F., and is described in this article as one of the "returned heroes". In grateful memory.

Memorial – Special Memorial: "To the memory of these 23 soldiers of the British Empire killed in action in 1917 and buried at the time in the Canadian Military Graves Avion.
