Son of Napoléon Lecomte and Élise Pageau (deceased in 1902), of Montréal, Québec.

He was with the unit in the La Louvière sector of Belgium when, on November 19th, 1918, he was stricken with the Spanish flu and evacuated to the Casualty Clearing Station No. 1 at Mons. He died there two weeks later.

MONS(BERGEN) COMMUNAL CEMETERY is located in the north east of the town of Mons, on the Chemin de la Procession a road leading from the N56 connecting Mons to Brussels. 600 metres after the N56 leaves the R50 ring road lies the Chemin de la Procession. The MONS(BERGEN)COMMUNAL CEMETERY is located 1 km along the Chemin de la Procession on the left hand side of the road. Visitors should note that this site is restricted to normal cemetery opening hours.
