Erected by the city of Victoria, this memorial is dedicated to the memory of the war dead of the First and Second World Wars, as well as the Korean War and the members of the Canadian Forces and Canadian civilians on peacekeeping missions.
It was unveiled Jul 12, 1925 by Lt Gov W.C. Nichol. The granite cenotaph and bronze statue were designed by Vernon and Sydney March.
