Level of Poverty Amongst Children

Transcript
In the market in Gaza they have a side of beef and the flies are just clinging to this side of beef and you come along and you want so much meat and they just cut this, flies and all off, into a piece of paper and if there's too much fat on it they just cut that off and they throw it on the ground because it's waste, they don't like fat. And you see three kids jump on it and they would be maybe six, seven, or eight years old, and they're kicking and fighting over it until one of them actually gets it, the other two don't and then you find out that they are brothers and sisters and they're fighting over a piece of fat that's crushed with dirt, a couple of dead flies or a half dozen dead flies on it and they're kicking and fighting each other over it, that's, you know, it's upsetting to see this amongst children having to fight and especially they're going to go home and one little girl is going to say mommy, daddy, he did this; well, you're going to have to fight harder.
