Photo of HENRY WALTER VALLANCE – Silver Memorial Bugle from the collection of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. This Silver Bugle was presented by E. Victor Vallance, Esq. Lieut. 13th Royal Regt. 1908-1912 In Memory of his Brother Lieut. Henry Walter Vallance 13th Royal Regt. and 36th Battn. C.E.F. Killed in Action at Hill 62 13th June 1916. This Bugle will be sounded at the Menin Gate on 14 August 2017 by Cpl Brian Vautour, and played at Liuet. grave site on 15 Aug 2017.

Grave Marker – This was the Silver bugle that Henry Walter Vallance's brother Victor donated to the Regiment to honour the death of Henry. In August 2017 members from the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry visited battlefields and cemeteries in France and Belgium, end brought this bugle to the graveside of Henry Walter Vallance. Cpl Brian Vautour sounded the Last Post and Rouse while members of the Regiment stood at attention. The inscription on the bugle says: "Presented to the officers of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry by E. Victor Vallance Esq., Lieutenant 13th Royal Regiment, 1908-1912, in memory of his brother Lieutenant Henry Walter Vallance, 13th Royal Regiment and 36th Battalion c.e.f. (Canadian Expeditionary Force) killed in action at Hill 62, 13 June, 1916."
