Anchor: Good evening.

The Korean War is a forgotten event for most Canadians. But for those who played an active role, the memories are still vivid.

Tonight we are going to pay tribute to these Canadian men and women, and their extraordinary contribution to a war whose repercussions continue to be felt to this day.

Did you know ...

Soldiers J. T. Allain, Arthur Baker and J. A. Bellefeuille are the first Canadians to be taken prisoner during the Korean War.
