Battle of the Atlantic

This page commemorates men of the Royal Canadian Navy wo by their deaths helped to keep open the very life-line of liberty.Utterly patient and ever watchful, they guided the endless throng of far distant ships carrying other fighting men to the battlefields and bearing life giving sustenance to fill the wants and streghten the resolution of millions of men and women beyond the seas, whose unconquerable hope withstood the shocks and disasters of invasion by land & air.

With the men of the Navy are recorded the names of the men of the Royal Canadian Air Force, who in the Battle of the Atlantic lost their lives as they cleansed the skies that lie above the Ocean and attacked the enemy lurking beneath its waves. In the brotherhood of devotion and in their country's love, they too are held in unfading honour & remembrance.
