  • Grave Marker– Grave of 1288835 (Not 2640032 that appears on the grave stone) Pvt. Albert Edward Leader who served with the Canadian Arny Medical Corps C.E.F.
He was born in the town of Henley in Oxford England on Feb. 14th 1889.
Husband of Nellie Leader of Port Alberni BC.  He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 22nd  he listed prior military service of 22 months in the 18th Field Artillery and was discharged due to Heatstroke, he listed his occupation as "Labourer"
Albert died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Dec. 14th 1918 at the age of 30.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
