Born in the town of Worthing in Sussex England on May 21st 1869.  Husband of Mary W. Parry of Vancouver BC. Melville enlisted into the C.E.F. at Edmonton Alberta on March 12th 1915 he listed prior military service of 12 years with the 2nd Sussex Regt. (Imp.)listing his occupation as "Post Master"
Melville died at Vancouver BC on Sept. 7th 1920 at the age of 51.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
