This medallion is one of 908,000 given by the King to the families of British servicemen who died during
the Great War 1914 - 1918
Private DROVER was born at Ramsay, Hampshire in 1890. He enlisted in the First Hampshire Regiment
in 1914 and died in France that same year.
Mrs. Annie Broomfield, the sister of Private Drover in whose memory the medallion was presented by King
George V, has chosen The Saskatchewan Dragoons to safeguard it
