Ce monument commémoratif est dédié le 20 juin 2008 à tous les membres du 3e Bataillon, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, qui sont morts en Afghanistan. Il était situé à l’origine à l’extérieur de l’entrée principale du bâtiment 408 du 3e Bataillon du Princess Patricia Light Canadian Infantry dans la garnison d’Edmonton.
