Le mémorial des vétérans de Pilot Butte a été inauguré le 11 novembre 2008. Il a été conçu par Karen Byrd de la Ville avec REMCO Memorials, à Regina. Le mémorial à quatre côtés mesure environ 7 pi 8 po de hauteur et repose sur une base effilée à trois couches. Le logo de la Ville se trouve sur les deux côtés du mémorial et il a la forme de la Saskatchewan, qui ressemble également à la forme de Pilot Butte.

Les grilles commémoratives du cimetière Pleasantview ont été le premier mémorial érigé par la communauté de Wynyard en l’honneur de ses citoyens morts à la guerre. Des plaques posées sur chaque colonne portent les noms des combattants de la Première Guerre mondiale qui ont perdu la vie outre-mer. Le mémorial a été érigé en 1935 par la filiale no 101 de la Légion royale canadienne.

Un premier monument fut construit en 1922 sur « Big Hill », site bien connu de Punnichy et du district; il fut inauguré le 24 septembre, en même temps que le parc Public Memorial. Un second monument le remplaça en 1931 et un troisième fut érigé au bout de la rue Main en 1968, la côte étant devenue trop difficile à gravir pour plusieurs. Il fut inauguré par un défilé le 11 novembre. Le monument est une grosse pierre apportée du champ de Henry Keep. Les travaux de maçonnerie sont de H. Suttill.
