CITY OF WINNIPEG EMPLOYEES
WOUNDED ⊕, PRISONER ◊, KILLED †, DECORATED *

TO HONOUR THE EMPLOYEES OF
THE MANITOBA POWER COMMISSION
WHO SERVED CANADA IN WORLD WAR II
1939 1945
"THEY SERVED THAT FREEDOM MIGHT LIVE"

CITY OF WINNIPEG
MANITOBA
537 NAMES
"So they gave their bodies to the
Commonwealth and received, each for
his memory, praise that will never die,
and with it the noblest sepulchre - not
the spot where the bones are laid,
but a home in the hearts of men"
Pericles
FORT GARRY HORSE (M)
(plaque)
THIS SHERMAN TANK
FROM WORLD WAR II
IS
DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY
OF OUR FALLEN COMRADES
IN ALL SERVICES

WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES

AND KOREA
LEST WE FORGET
