Economic Club of Canada Breakfast Panel on Mental Health

On May 3, the Honourable Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, participated in the Economic Club of Canada’s breakfast panel entitled “Mental Health and the Canadian Military: Supporting our Armed Forces and Veterans.”
Joining Minister Hehr on the panel was Louise Bradley, President and CEO of the Mental Health Commission; Andrew Garsch, Afghanistan Veteran; Chris Anderson, President of Medaca Health Group; and Trudi Walsh, Ph.D., C.Psych. Calian Contractor (Psychologist, Acting Program Manager OTSSC) CF H Svcs C(O) Department of National Defence / Government of Canada. The panel was moderated by Dr. Karen Cohen Ph.D., C. Pysch, Chief Executive Officer, Canadian Psychological Association.
Minister Hehr spoke to the Federal Government of Canada’s commitment to Veterans and their well-being.
