80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy - Evening event in Moncton, NB

The Government of Canada is pleased to invite the public to an event on the eve of the 80^th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy during the Second World War. The event is part of the official Government of Canada commemorations which are taking place in the Greater Moncton area, New Brunswick. The official Government of Canada delegation, including some Veterans of the Second World War, will be present. Public participants should plan to arrive by 7:30pm as the event will begin promptly at 8:00pm.

In the event of severe inclement weather, the event will take place at the Moncton Coliseum.
