Courcelette is a village about 8 kilometres north-east of Albert (next to the main road D929 Albert-Bapaume). The REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY lies about 1.5 kilometres north-west of the village. The REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY (signposted in the centre of Courcelette) is 1.5 kilometres down a single track lane (suitable for cars).

  • Memorial– The Star-Phoenix Clock (5th Avenue N. & 24th Street in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) was erected in 1920 in memory of the co-founder of one of Saskatoon’s daily papers who perished in World War I and is a tribute to him and other Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice in the War. It is a protected heritage property established by W. Herman in memory of his partner, Thomas Lawson. The Star-Phoenix Clock is located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 24th Street. Seth Thomas was the first who succeeded in designing and making tower clocks in different countries.
