December 12, 1916

Son of James G. and Josephine M. Galbraith, of Ottawa, Ontario. Brother of Jean Monica, and Edward. Grandson of Mrs. W.J. Lynch of Ottawa. Jean Monica predeceased Flying Officer Galbraith dying of cancer on 24 November 1939 in Ottawa. Flying Officer attended Loyola College in Montreal, Quebec and St. Patrick's College in Ottawa. He was the nephew of John and Bessie Labatt of Labatt's Brewery, London, Ontario and Florence and D.C. Coleman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Pacific Rail (CPR) of Montreal, Quebec.
