Born in Vancouver BC on Sept. 3rd 1920 to Thomas & Helen Botterill.  He enlisted into the R.C.A.F. at Vancouver BC in June of 1940. Thomas was killed while on active duty in Canada in Oct. 9th 1942 at the age of 22.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC>
