Baptized Joachim Touchette but later changed his name to “Wilfrid”. Son of Joachim Touchette (died 1899) and Domithilde Laberge, of Montreal, Quebec. He attested that he was single and was born on January 15, 1878 but he was in fact widowed since 1911 of Diana Giroux and father of a daughter, Alexina-Délisca, born 1891.
