Son George Antaya of Marietta, Georgia, United States of America. Stepson of Garry John Daly and son of Marcia Audrey Daly of Cherry Valley, Ontario. Brother of Darcy John Daly and Nicole Sheri Antaya. Husband of Suzanne Claire (nee Carnerie) Antaya of Stratford, Ontario.

Captain Antaya was a member of the Snowbirds aerobatic team and flew as the inner right wing. He was killed during an air show at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Ontario.
