GUIDE 1: Remembrance to me means fulfilling our continual duty to commemorate. GUIDE 2: Commemoration means sharing stories. GUIDE 3: Recognizing those who served in past and present for our future. GUIDE 4: Remembrance is about commemorating the service and sacrifice of our veterans, both those who returned and those who did not. GUIDE 5: Honouring the sacrifice of all those affected by war. GUIDE 6: Remembering family sacrifices. GUIDE 7: It’s to never forget the service of all the men who fought in both the First World War and the Second World War. But more importantly to me, the services of both my great-grandfather and my grandfather who fought in the First and Second World Wars respectively. GUIDE 8: Remembrance means taking the time out of your busy day to sit and reflect; to remember all of those soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. A MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA
