Veteran’s Service Card

Transcript
Stéphane Lauzon: I'm here with the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Seamus O'Regan, and this is a long awaited day for Veterans as we just introduced the Veteran's Service Card. Seamus O'Regan: The Veteran's Service Card will be available to all Canadian Forces members who have released honourably. It will also help link Veterans and their families to supports and services available throughout Veterans Affairs Canada and give them a continued connection to their comrades and to the Veteran community. This is something that we’ve heard at the more than 40 town halls, meetings, and roundtables that we’ve had with Veterans and their families since January. It’s something that’s important to them. It’s recognition of their service, of who they are. I want Veterans to know that we listened to you, we heard you, and we acted. And we will keep working to make things better for you and your families. A message from the government of Canada.
