Transcription
Anyway, we went on board a ship and we started out everything peaceable. And we got into the south of Ireland. Well, along the south Island coast was a submarine, German submarine base. And we was going around there with our troop ship and I saw a sub come up, and I notified the gunners. They had guns on, they had big shells - depth bombs they were - and I run and told them. I said, “A sub!” “Where? ” And I told them where it was. And away went a depth bomb and they sank the sub.
