Transcription
We were “Veterans of Foreign Wars”, was one outfit that started up. And then there was another outfit called the, what was it, Kent, King? Some other name of Veterans, and then they started up the Great War Veterans, the GWVA, Great War Veterans. And then that turned into the Legion. Yeah, that’s why the Legion started, was the Great War Veterans. And then there was other Veteran organizations and they amalgamated and all joined together. They had a big meeting and joined together and formed the Legion. A wonderful outfit!
