Description
Mr. Penney describes what he saw in 1994 when he was in Rwanda.
Transcription
I got to go to Rwanda in 1994 to witness the aftermath of the killing of 750,000 people. I was exposed to mass graves. I exhumed bodies of mothers and children still swaddled to their mom, their heads were smashed and they were still wrapped in their little shells on to their mommy's back. I've seen multiple mine injuries. Disease and death was everywhere in a society totally gone mad. I'm here to tell you, don't forget the Veterans of the past, the present, or the future. Who are these people? They are the people, they are the soldiers that live in your neighbourhoods. The veterans, let's never forget them. To the children of the wars, I will always remember.
