Interviewer: What happened after the war, was it difficult for you to return to civilian life?
Well, there was some anxiety when I'd been running a flying unit and I got home and the most significant job I could do when I got home was fill the wood box. But I signed up to go back to school because I needed to have some better marks in some other subjects in order to get into university. So that got me pretty busy and then early in my up-grading program, I was at a university dance and, although not in university, they, campus was out at an airport in Saskatoon, and this gal picked me up on ladies choice dance and that kept me busy for some time, we've been married just over fifty-nine years.
