Transcription

Interviewer: Turnips?
Turnips or anything they had there, and we'd take them and wash ‘em off and cook ‘em. When I finally got picked up and I got fed, I was... the, the Englishmen... and the Americans both, they had us and they feeding us pretty damn good, you know. And this was about two or three days, and then they flew us in there and we landed in London, and I got on the scales at London and, hell, thought I'd be longer than that we were out... Interviewer: How much did you normally weigh?
175. So I was skinny.
