When I was on a training station there, we had a young chap, in his thirties who had a cardiac myocardial infarction, and he had a cardiac arrest, and we, that was that days before we were practising CPR, and what we were doing you know we just simply incised his chest and my hand was the smallest of the group so I was designated to go in and you know pump his heart, things like that. And at the same time the Padre was at the head of the table giving last rights and you know, those things stand out in your mind. We lost the patient because he'd had a massive heart attack, and there was nothing that was going to save him, but, and you couldn't get him to the nearest hospital, like we had a little infirmary, that's what we were working out of, you know things like that.
