Description
Mr. Floyd explains his role as F&E Clerk, (Furnitures and Effects) In-Canada service, before going overseas.
Transcription
My first posting was in Vancouver, 11 Company and I was what they called the F&E which is Funiture & Effects, people moving A to B, B to C. I would arrange the move, by local movers to ship them out and then I covered their for example utility accounts. The clerk RCFC covered a multitude of things, such as supplies, moving control, furniture and effects, utility accounts, transportation for dependents and so on and so forth. So we had a good round of experience, you’d work from section to section to section to cover all aspects of it. The most interesting I found was the move and control aspect.
