Mr. Kondra reflects on how Canada's youth can remember our Veterans, and what they sacrificed for today's freedom.

Those that did not return should be remembered and the younger generation just learn a little more about the sacrifices that they did, that they made. Not all young people today realize just what or how much of a sacrifice those people made but perhaps as they learn more about the events that did happen they’ll come to realize just how great a sacrifice because and during the school groups that we have here, when I talk to them I also tell them that should they ever travel to the continent of Europe to visit the graves, Canadian graves, there they will realize just in what numbers the losses of lives were and when they look at the marker they will also see their age and that’s the tragic part of war is the age of the people who lose their lives because at that age life has just begun so that is what they should remember Their freedom today, it comes at a very great loss and that loss can never be repaid so if they could bear that in mind, remember that, then that’s all we can do.
