After Effects of Military Service

After I came back from Afghanistan I had a lot of trouble dealing with things and trying to muddle through but you get that, you know, “Suck it up buttercup, you have to be strong,” but you can’t and you really do feel very inferior because many people pass judgment and say, you know, they’re wimping out or, you know, they’re faking it. While you are there you have to operate on a different level. You almost have to become like a robot or something, push away anything else that is going on that might affect you because you have to be a soldier.
