A group of fellas that you would meet, I mean in Canada different units just don’t mix, and I found once you were overseas it didn’t matter whether you were a supply tech, an engineer or infantry or whatever, everybody just kind of gelled together and started to get along. I made friends with a few supply techs in my platoon and some mechanics and some cooks. A normal day would be up at 4:30, go to the gym, work out for an hour or so, shower, go to breakfast and be at work for around 7:00. I worked in clothing stores issuing clothing to all the Canadians on ground and as well as stock taking and investigation where you have to account for all of the equipment and all of our parts and if they are not there investigations are done. So that was pretty much a day for me. About the first three months, we all worked probably until about 10:00 or 11:00 at night and then down to our tent and go to ground.
