Well you know if you love the country you got to be prepared to fight for it. And that goes for everything for country or family or whatever. I am not keen on individualism sometimes goes a little too far. You got to live for more than yourself and I would hope that I wish our schools would do more to bring back some of the old verities that we used to go by, you know. In all my day it was king and country and all that crap and I’m not saying we should go back to that but I don’t’ feel the kids these days are getting enough appreciation for their country, for their family and for the old time thing like do onto others as you would have others do onto you. I was asked to talk to a bunch of kids in the school a few years ago and I had to say look around at the different colours and different people, do you know that in my day we wanted to kill the Japs, we wanted to kill the Germans, how would you like to think like that? You see you got to watch where we’re going, where the whole country is going, we got to learn to love each other.
