Description
Each Remembrance Day, Mr. Feyko thinks about the importance of reflecting on Veterans and the sacrifice each one gave in their service for our country.
Transcription
You know I remember, it’s very close to when my accident happened as well. It was November 21st so ten days after Remembrance Day so that time of the year I get to the point where I am reminded of my injuries because of the anniversary of it but it’s just a reflection of where I’ve been and where I am now and I remember people I have served with and people that are here, people that are gone. And you go back to just remembering what happened in WWII and all the Veterans there and there’s not too many of them left anymore so that’s what I think. It’s important for the youth today too to remember and to be taught what went on back, you know, during WWI and WWII and now through Afghanistan and everything of what sacrifices had been made by Canadians to be where we are as a country.
