Seeing people with different values. For example, I went down to Pakrac, the town was divided in two. One side was Serbian, the other side was Croatian and seeing the people from two different ethnic value, for example, if I was a Croat, you were a Serbian, well I had no value for your life. You were dirt. And we value life. We will go out of our way to protect somebody defenceless but them at that time of war their total value of life is different. And their philosophy, well if you are not part of my ethnic background you’re expendable just like you would expendable a rat. Their value of life is totally… so that was something, a hard pill to swallow is their value of human life.
