Le tableau d’honneur de Port Arthur Shipbuilding Company est publié dans Canada’s Aid to the Allies. James Whalen, originaire de Port Arthur et président de la Western Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Company, ainsi que John Burnham, originaire de Chicago, prirent les commandes de l’entreprise en novembre 1916, date à laquelle il semble que le nom ait officiellement été changé pour Port Arthur Shipbuilding Company; cette année-là, le chantier devait fonctionner à pleine capacité pour fabriquer 12 bateaux. Les marques d’étraves de l’entreprise incluent 10 dragueurs de mines construits pour la Marine royale en 1917-1918 et 4 autres construits après la guerre en 1919. Le Noronic fut construit à Port Arthur par la Western Dry Dock and Shipbuilding Co. pour Northern Navigation en 1913. Après la guerre, ils bâtirent sept navires de charge pour la marine marchande du gouvernement canadien.

Ce terrain de jeux a été dédié à la mémoire du Caporal Anthony Boneca, membre du Lake Superior Scottish Regiment, tué le 9 juillet 2006 lorsque le groupement tactique du Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, au sein duquel il servait, a lancé une attaque contre une enceinte protégée dans le district de Panjwai de la province de Kandahar, en Afghanistan.

Avec la permission des parents d’Anthony Boneca, le conseil d’Edgewater Park School, à Thunder Bay a construit et ouvert un nouveau terrain de jeux en l’honneur du Caporal Anthony Boneca. L’inauguration, parrainée par l’organisation Laissons-les être des enfants, a eu lieu le 2 juin 2007. Le régiment d’appartenance d’Anthony, soit The Lake Superior Scottish Regiment, a participé à l’ouverture du parc, notamment en fournissant un cornemuseur.

Le Slt David H. Proudfoot est mort le 15 octobre 1944 et a été enterré au Runnymede Memorial Cemetery, dans le Surrey, au Royaume-Uni.

Le Lcol James F. Watson est mort le 4 août 1944 et a été enterré au cimetière de guerre canadien de Bretteville-sur-Laize, dans le Calvados, en France.

La famille du LC Robert Rae et de Mme Rae a dédié ce banc à leur mémoire. Le LC Robert Rae est décédé le 16 septembre 1916 et repose dans un cimetière près du Monument commémoratif de Vimy, dans la région du Pas-de-Calais, en France.
