Book of Remembrance
THE GATEWAY TO THE WEST
City of Port Arthur

[first page/première page]

This book contains the names of all those who
enlisted for service in World Wars 1 and 2 and who were
resident in the City of Port Arthur at the time of
enlistment.

They served, and many gave their lives or were
maimed for the benefit of Canada and of all mankind - they
served that we and our children may have peace in the
world.

This book is dedicated to them, the citizens of
Port Arthur, who offered their all.

Peace be unto them, with the hope that their
sacrifices may not have been in vain.

SHALL REMAIN SUSPENDED IN THE CHURCH FOR ETERNITY.
THEY SHOULD NOT BE CHANGED, CLEANED OR REPAIRED,
