Objective Criteria (Audit criteria must be sourced)
1. Provide assurance to senior management on the adequacy of the management control framework in the delivery of disability benefits to Survivors.

A. The organization provides employees with the necessary training, tools, resources and information to support the discharge of their responsibilities.

B. Oversight exists to monitor and provide assurance on the quality and due diligence in decision-making.

C. Authority, responsibility and accountability are clear and communicated.

2. Assess compliance with applicable policies and processes in the delivery of disability benefits to Survivors.

A. Policies and procedures in place aligned with legislation

B. Decisions are appropriate, fully documented and supported.
