Grave of 4290303 Pvt. Robert Gibson who served with the 7th Battn. C.E.F.
Born in Glasgow Scotland on Jan. 26th 1891. Robert enlisted into the C.E.F. twice, the first time was at Vancouver BC on March 11th 1915 he listed prior military service with the 104th Regt. Canadian Militia, he listed his occupation as "Tin Smith" He was discharged in 1917 due to Pneumonia and chronic Bronchitis. He re-enlisted at Vancouver BC on Jan. 15th 1918 listing his occupation as "Machinist" Robert died at Vancouver BC on Jan. 24th 1920 at the age of 29. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC
