Pte. Harry Thomas Gleed enlisted with the 134th Battalion CEF (48th Highlanders) on July 25th, 1916 at Borden Camp. His address at that time was 233 Davenport Road, Toronto. His brother was Pte. James Jarvis Gleed (#27769) who was killed at the 2nd battle of Ypres on April 24th, 1915. Pte. James Gleed served with the 15th Battalion (48th Highlanders) and signed his attestation on September 20th, 1914 at Valcartier Camp, Quebec.

ANNEXE DU CIMETIÈRE COMMUNAL DE BRUAY Pas de Calais, France
Bruay est un grand village du département du Pas-de-Calais à 6 kilomètres au sud-ouest de Béthune et à 26 kilomètres au nord-ouest d'Arras.
Sortez de Bruay par la route N41, en direction nord, vers Berck. Tournez à droite à l'endroit où des panneaux annoncent Lews/Calonne-Ricouart. Parcourez 400 mètres et tournez encore à droite, où un panneau annonce le cimetière à l'ouest. Continuez jusqu'à la colline, en dépassant le monument commémoratif aux mineurs. Le cimetière se trouve du côté droit, à un kilomètre. Le lot du Commonwealth est situé dans le coin droit, au fond du cimetière.
