Capitaine d'aviation, navigateur Robert John Radcliffe
This is a photo of his original commission document currently in my possession. I will search for his family and offer it to them as I imagine they would love and deserve to have it.
The loss of RCAF Pilot Offficer Robert John Radcliffe, his sacrifice enabled my birth, my life and my freedom.
Lest we forget. I will not forget. My daughters know of him and of his sacrifice. They also honour and respect him.
Mom never forgot him. The last time I spoke to her before her passing, I spoke to her about him. I told her that I knew she had never stopped loving and missing him and that even though she had later married the man who became my father, that was okay. Mom passed a few days after that conversation.à
Most respectfully and sincerely
Kevin M. Walton
