Carabinier William Starostic
Rifleman Starostic enlisted in 1941 with another Ontario infantry unit and eventually joined the QOR of C in July of 1943. He served in the Carrier Platoon of the Support Coy and landed on D-Day with the Regiment. Rifleman Starostic was killed when the WASP he was operating was hit near the town of Isendyke (in the Breskens Pocket of Holland) during the Scheldt fighting.

CIMETIÈRE DE GUERRE CANADIEN D'ADEGEM Belgique
Le cimetière de guerre Canadien d'Adegem est situé à mi-chemin entre Bruges (17 km) et Gent 26 km) sur la N9 qui relie les deux villes. À partir du port de Bruges, on parvient à Adegem en passant par Sijsele et Maldegem. En arrivant à Adegem, vous trouverez le cimetière sur Prins Boudewijn Laan, du côté droit de la N9.
